Developed by the historic fashion house's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, in partnership with Emilie Bouge, the offering is an evolution of Trudon's best selling scent, Emesto. Ernesto has long been Rousteing's favourite Trudon scent, forming a key ingredient of the distinctive ambience found within his office, home as well as the Balmain boutiques across the globe. Bouge concocted an expert floral and feminine flourish for Ernesto's masculine notes, relying on the mysterious and distinct touch of black rose in order to create an ideal olfactory reflection of the twenty first century Balmain brand. The unique glass vessel with its bold stripes, references one of the brands signature runway themes – his modern and luxe take on the traditional French sweater.
